Welcome to Florence and Your State Convention
We are celebrating 100 years of Lions in South Carolina. Five Lions Clubs were founded in 1922: Anderson, Columbia, Greenville, Orangeburg, and Spartanburg. This momentous occasion will go down in history as the year we launched a new century of Lions servicing humanity in over 124 South Carolina communities. Lion Ambassador Bobbie Dove could not have said it better “Let’s go up, up, and away!”
You will become part of that history as you enjoy the meetings, meals, presentations, vendors, entertainment, and service project that the convention committee has gathered for your enjoyment. Be sure to take advantage of the multiple opportunities to hear and speak with our invited International Director, Michael Banks, and his wife Anne.
A special thanks goes out to all the SC Lions Clubs and businesses that have supported this event through purchasing ads in our convention programs and/or donating items to our silent auction.
We hope you enjoy the hospitality shown by the folks at the Florence Center and the Florence Hilton Garden Inn. They have been an exceptional group of people to work with.
