Florence SC › Full Life. Full Forward.

We are busy preparing for your next event, and we can’t wait until you experience all that Florence has to offer. We are a contemporary, Southern Belle of a city, that features a variety of fine restaurants, unique shopping, and a rich history. When you’re not at the beautifully renovated Florence Center, we hope you will explore some of our favorite attractions.

Visit the Florence County Museum where you can learn about the early days of Florence. You’ll find history and culture in a variety of exhibits that showcase works from various artists, including Florence native William H. Johnson. While you are downtown, enjoy a fantastic meal from one of our locally owned restaurants on Restaurant Row. Speaking of delicious food, hop on the SC Pecan Trail and experience a modern take on traditional dishes featuring pecans. Stop in participating businesses and enjoy delightful dishes like pecan encrusted grouper or sip on a pecan pie martini.

July is the perfect time to paddle South Carolina’s Revolutionary Rivers. The trail highlights the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution, taking you through the scenic swampland where the famous “Swamp Fox” General Francis Marion once led his troops. Put in at Lynches River County Park, but not before you take a walk on the treetop canopy bridge overlooking the park.

Just steps outside of the Florence Center is the Florence Veteran Park where you can stretch your legs as you browse the sculpted monuments along the walking trail. Stop by our information table during the tournament for even more things to see and do while you are here.

We are looking forward to seeing and meeting you in our beautiful city!
