The award-winning Florence Center is the largest convention, meeting, and exhibition facility in northeast South Carolina. The venue offers 79,000 sq. ft. of flexible space to accommodate small meetings for 10 people, national conferences for 10,000 attendees and any size event in-between.

State of the Art Rooms Updated and comfortable meeting rooms offers a relaxed and productive event, whether a conference or social event, enjoy a new and fresh look as you arrive at the Florence Center.


The beautiful Grand Ballroom can accommodate nearly any type of event. The elegant décor invites receptions, banquets and galas to an attractive setting, yet the spacious location with 20’ ceiling doubles as a theater hall and tradeshow site.

The Junior Ballroom is one of the newest additions to the Florence Center. Completed in early 2018, the Junior Ballroom can be used as a large open room or can be divided into a combination of several separate spaces to better event your event. It is comprised of Meeting Rooms 101-104. This state-of-the-art space offers you multiple options when it comes to audio, visual and lighting.

The award-winning Florence Center is the largest convention, meeting, and events center in northeast South Carolina which serves an 11-county radius collectively known as the Pee Dee region. At the forefront of the venue is a 9,150-seat Arena for live shows and highly-anticipated events. The Arena measures 204’ X 141’ with 28,482 sq. ft. of space with a versatile layout design and seating. Retractable seating throughout the lower level offers adaptability while fixed seating on the concourse and upper levels provide ample accommodations for large-scale events. The Florence Center employs on-site event managers, A/V staff, and in-house marketing services to aid promoters and tours.

The Florence Center now offers an outdoor Courtyard area for your events. This space allows your guests to still have access to the Center amenities while also enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
The Courtyard is 6,000 sq. ft. and is a unique option for weddings, receptions, cocktail hours and socials.


Offering 2 main parking lots adjoined by 2 access drive-thrus, the outdoor area is the premier site for open-air activities. 4 major entrance/exit points from 2 adjacent streets easily directs traffic in and out. Carnival rides, car shows, circus tents, outdoor trade events and the likes can occupy an area of choice, while the other lot serves your guests’ parking needs.
