The creative layout provides countless configurations for events of every size and requirement. Our flexible Meeting Rooms, Junior Ballroom, Grand Ballroom and Arena allows us to help provide the best space for your event.

The Florence Center is more than a mere room lease, but rather a full-service rental operation delivering affordable rates, flexible space and experienced staff to guide you through the perfect engagement.

Our knowledgeable staff has many years of event planning experience and we’re excited to work with you. The Florence Center provides event management, catering and technical support. We can tailor every detail to fit your event needs. Event Managers will work with you hand-in-hand whether you’re planning a large-scale arena event, birthday party, anniversaries, business meetings, car show, luncheons, church conferences, weddings, receptions and many more. We can arrange any amenity including coat check, valet parking, security and equipment rental. We can provide you with information on shopping, restaurants and hotel accommodations as well.

The Florence Center offers on-site IT staff to arrange full-scale audio and visual support to accommodate each event’s technical needs. The venue is equipped with hi-speed internet, an advanced fiber optics system and offers an array of sound, lighting and visual capabilities.

MEETING ROOMS

The award-winning Florence Center is the largest convention, meeting, and exhibition facility in northeast South Carolina. The venue offers 75,000 sq. ft. of flexible space to accommodate small meetings for 10 people, national conferences for 10,000 attendees and any size event in-between.

State of the Art Rooms Updated and comfortable meeting rooms offers a relaxed and productive event, whether a conference or social event, enjoy a new and fresh look as you arrive at the Florence Center.

GRAND BALLROOM

The beautiful Grand Ballroom can accommodate nearly any type of event. The elegant décor invites receptions, banquets and galas to an attractive setting, yet the spacious location with 20’ ceiling doubles as a theater hall and tradeshow site.

JUNIOR BALLROOM

The Junior Ballroom is one of the newest additions to the Florence Center. Completed in early 2018, the Junior Ballroom can be used as a large open room or can be divided into a combination of several separate spaces to better event your event. It is comprised of Meeting Rooms 101-104. This state-of-the-art space offers you multiple options when it comes to audio, visual and lighting.

ARENA

The award-winning Florence Center is the largest convention, meeting, and events center in northeast South Carolina which serves an 11-county radius collectively known as the Pee Dee region. At the forefront of the venue is a 9,150-seat Arena for live shows and highly-anticipated events. The Arena measures 204’ X 141’ with 28,482 sq. ft. of space with a versatile layout design and seating. Retractable seating throughout the lower level offers adaptability while fixed seating on the concourse and upper levels provide ample accommodations for large-scale events. The Florence Center employs on-site event managers, A/V staff, and in-house marketing services to aid promoters and tours.

COMBINATIONS

The creative design of the Center accommodates events of all sizes and requirements. All exhibition and convention space flows together under one roof. Combinations of the 30,000 square foot Arena, well-appointed Meeting Rooms and the Grand Ballroom can be configured into countless design layouts. The Center provides a total of 50,000 square feet of multipurpose meeting space.

OUTDOOR

Offering 2 main parking lots adjoined by 2 access drive-thrus, the outdoor area is the premier site for open-air activities. 4 major entrance/exit points from 2 adjacent streets easily directs traffic in and out. Carnival rides, car shows, circus tents, outdoor trade events and the likes can occupy an area of choice, while the other lot serves your guests’ parking needs.

The Florence Center now offers an outdoor Courtyard area for your events. This space allows your guests to still have access to the Center amenities while also enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
The Courtyard is 6,000 sq. ft. and is a unique option for weddings, receptions, cocktail hours and socials.

THE FLORENCE CENTER ENCOMPASSES 8 RENTAL SUITES FOR PARTY, HOSPITALITY AND EXECUTIVE NEEDS. THESE PRIVATE SUITES ARE IDEAL FOR SOCIAL OR BUSINESS GATHERINGS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES OR ANY SPECIAL OCCASION TO CREATE AN UNFORGETTABLE IMPRESSION ON YOUR CLIENTS, PROSPECTS, EMPLOYEES, FAMILY OR FRIENDS. RENTAL SUITES CAN ACCOMMODATE 14-20 PEOPLE.

Professional suite catering by SAVOR… Florence is available when ordered in advance. From popcorn and soda to luscious buffets and bar service, SAVOR… satisfies every taste. SUITE PRICING & AVAILABILITY
